We took the latest boutique price of 127 bags from 10 brands and looked at the typical price of each brand: the one in the middle, with half of its bags cheaper and half dearer.
Chanel has the highest typical price, €6,900; Louis Vuitton the lowest, €1,950. Dior (€4,025) and Bottega Veneta (€3,800) follow Chanel.
The typical price depends on which models we follow, so it is a guide to each brand's range, not a price list.
