What the numbers say
The Chanel Classic Flap Small went from €5,500 to €10,100, up 84%, and the Medium, Jumbo and Maxi follow at 74%, 71% and 68%.
Outside Chanel the biggest rises are the Louis Vuitton Speedy Bandoulière 25, up 56%, and the Pochette Métis, up 53%, both ahead of the two Classic Flap Minis at 45% and 44%.
The Gucci Horsebit 1955 shoulder bag rose the least of the ten, 35%, from €2,200 to €2,980, below the Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM at 38%.
