Checks before you buy

  1. Size

The size is a length in centimetres. According to Opulent Jewelers, a reseller, it is the inner circumference of the bracelet. Ask the seller to measure inside the bracelet.

Source: Opulent Jewelers, checked 12 October 2026. The size guide on the cartier.com bracelet page (archived copy of 18 March 2026) (checked 12 October 2026) recommends a size from the circumference of the wrist, but does not say what the number measures

  2. Metal and model

Ask for the metal and the model in the listing. The official page reads: 750/1000 yellow gold, classic model without stones. Other metals and versions with stones are other products with other prices.

Source: cartier.com official page (archived copy of 18 March 2026)

  3. Condition

Ask for close photos of the whole surface and for the condition grade in the seller's own words. Each seller uses its own scale: The RealReal, for example, has six grades, from Pristine to As-Is.

More checks
  1. Closure and screwdriver

The current model closes with two screws and comes with a screwdriver. Check that the listing says whether the screwdriver is included.

  2. What is included

Check what comes with it: box, papers and the screwdriver. They are listed separately and can change the price.

Source: cartier.com (archived copy of 18 March 2026) for the screwdriver, checked 12 October 2026

  3. Return policy

Read it before you pay. Terms differ: Collector Square gives 14 days, Vestiaire Collective gives 14 days only when the seller is a professional, and none when the seller is a private person.

Source: Retailer terms checked on 7 October 2026 and again on 12 October 2026: Collector Square (art. 8.6.1), Vestiaire Collective (art. 12)

These checks help you compare a listing with the official facts. They do not show that a piece is genuine, and we do not authenticate anything. Buy from a seller that says who authenticates and what happens if an item is not authentic.

How we check prices

  • The boutique price is the public price the brand publishes on its own website: we use it only as a benchmark to measure how much you save pre-owned.
  • Each price carries the date we saw it, on the official page or in an archived copy, never the date of an increase announced elsewhere.
  • When a brand has one price across the euro area, the chart follows four reference markets: France, Italy, Germany and Spain.
  • Periods we did not check are drawn in a lighter grey, and we never fill them with an estimate.
  • Every price in the table under the chart links to its source.
